Picture
It’s been a long “season” for the campaign. Scott has been working very hard and our team of volunteers are getting ready for a lot of door-to-door walking throughout Roseville. It’s all about gaining yardage, getting first downs, scoring, and defending your positions.
Scott is reaching a significant number of voters and the team will visit many more. This fundraiser will help us reach the portion of the community we can’t reach in person.
We also want to come together, kick back and enjoy the 49ers play the Cardinals, eat some great pizza, and enjoy each other.

LOCATION:
Old Town Pizza (Roseville)
120 Church St., Roseville, CA 95678
For event questions, email Team @ TalkToScott.org or call (916) 784-0240.
DATE/TIME:
Thursday, October 6, 2016
5:00pm until you want/have to leave (kickoff at 5:25pm)

Walk for Scott

Guilt-free Donuts and Exercise! Easy Precinct Walking! BYOT
Who: Everyone...Walk for Scott
When: Saturday, October 1 at 9:30 AM
Where: 141 Bogart Ct., Roseville, CA 95747
What:  How can donuts be guilt-free? When you burn the calories by
walking! BYOT = Bring Your Own Tennies!
There are TWO events this weekend. One Saturday morning and one Sunday afternoon (that's when the volunteers wanted to walk). Please respond individually to the event(s) you plan to attend.
For THIS Saturday event, we'll meet at the Alvord's home at 9:30am, load up on as many carbs as you need to keep your energy up, distribute maps as per your desired walking distance, and distribute campaign material to the homes on our maps. It's very easy, kinda fun, and doesn't require interfacing with neighbors if you'd rather not.
We are trying to ensure that the campaign team's flyer about Scott gets into the homes of voters who may not know him yet.
The ENDING TIME depends on your own schedule.
IMPORTANT: Unless you contact the team directly (or call Scott's home at 784-0240), we'll assume that if you say you're "Going" on this Facebook event, we'll plan to see you. We do not want to be stuck with extra donuts! :-)

Dear Placer County Democratic Clubs:

Just a friendly reminder that our very own Steve Parker is hosting a Facebook into/training class this Thursday!

The details are below:

Looking forward to Steve Parker’s Facebook Class.
Please bring a portable computing device, i.e. laptop, notebook, iPad, etc.
If you do not have one to bring, let us know so we can partner you with someone to share.

We will be covering the basics of Facebook.  If you don’t already have an account, you might want to set one up or if you want to do it in class, you should have a couple photos on your computer you are willing to post for your front page; for example, a self-photo or a pet photo, favorite place, whatever.

You will also learn:
How to set your controls;
How to post;
How to share; and
How to find people or pages.

You will find Facebook is a great way to get the positive messages out about our candidates.
….

The training will be at the Dem HQ located at

699 Washington Boulevard Ste B-7 in Roseville, CA.

Looking forward to seeing folks there to help us strengthen the blue wave!

Andrew Gordon~
